The Washington State Department of Commerce's International Aerospace Breifing Series continues with "The Montreal Aerospace Cluster: Opportunities for WA Suppliers". Join us for this free informational seminar on Montreal’s aerospace cluster as a prelude to the official WA State Aerospace Business Development Mission to Montreal. 

Keith Meredith of the Montreal-based consulting firm AeroInsight and contractor to the State of Washington will provide an in-depth analysis of the major players and programs in one of the largest aerospace clusters in the world. The program will focus on current and potential new platform supply chain opportunities for Washington companies including Bombardier’s C-series, Lear 85 and Q400x programs, as well as an overview of developments at Bell Helicopter Textron Canada, CAE, Pratt & Whitney Canada, and Heroux-Devtek, among others.

In addition the Department of Commerce will provide details on the WA State Aerospace Business Development Mission to Montreal scheduled for April 2010.

The seminar will include:

   - The top tiers of Montreal’s aerospace cluster

   - Current & future aircraft programs

   - Strengths and needs of the cluster

   - After-market players

   - Supplying goods & services to Canada

   - 2010 WA State Aerospace Mission to Montreal

   - Other resources and events
